1. About ND-Link

ND-Link is an online platform supporting neurodivergent adults in social connection, communication and contact with others and care professionals.

ND-Link does not automatically verify the professional qualifications of users or care professionals, unless explicitly indicated in the profile. Users bear their own responsibility for evaluating information provided by other users.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ND-Link, you agree to these terms and conditions. Changes are handled in accordance with article 15.

3. Eligibility & Account Security

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activities that take place via their account. Report suspicious use immediately via the contact form or contact@ndlink.app.

4. User Conduct & Prohibited Behaviour

You agree not to use the platform for:

  • Harassment, stalking, bullying or discrimination;
  • Sexual harassment or inappropriate content;
  • Identity fraud or impersonating another person or organisation;
  • Distribution of spam, unsolicited messages or misleading information;
  • Hateful, offensive or harmful content;
  • Manipulation, fraud or commercial solicitation without permission;
  • Any activity contrary to applicable law.

5. User-Generated Content

By posting content on ND-Link (such as messages, photos or profile information), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, display and technically process this content for the operation of the platform. The content remains the property of the user. ND-Link does not make commercial use of user-generated content.

6. Moderation & Reporting

Users can report inappropriate behaviour or content via the reporting system in the app. We review reports within a reasonable time and may take appropriate action, including warnings, temporary restrictions, removal of content or permanent removal of accounts.

7. Limitation of Liability

ND-Link facilitates contacts between users but is not a party to interactions, appointments or meetings between users. Use of the platform is at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that all user information is complete, correct or reliable, including the identity or intentions of users.

ND-Link is not liable for damage arising from contacts or actions between users, nor for indirect damage resulting from the use or unavailability of the platform.

8. No Medical or Crisis Services

ND-Link does not provide medical, psychiatric, therapeutic or crisis care services. It is not a substitute for professional care. In case of acute psychological distress, contact local emergency services or a professional care provider.

9. Offline Meetings

We advise users to be cautious at offline meetings: meet people for the first time in a public place and do not share personal information too quickly. ND-Link is not liable for events, damage or actions arising from offline meetings between users, except as required by mandatory law.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights to the software, branding, design and content of ND-Link belong to Daniel Van Waeyenberg, unless otherwise stated or where content belongs to the respective user. Users may not copy, distribute or commercially exploit the content of the platform without express permission.

11. Availability

We strive for safe and stable operation of the platform, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to planned maintenance, security updates or technical problems.

12. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

ND-Link offers paid premium functionality. Subscription prices and conditions are shown on the upgrade page. Premium subscriptions run automatically until cancelled by the user via the account settings or payment platform. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund of already paid periods, except where required by law. We reserve the right to change prices; existing subscribers will be informed in a timely manner.

13. Referral Premium

ND-Link may reward users for referring new members with free Premium months. Free Premium months earned through the referral program have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, redeemed for cash, or converted into any other form of compensation. They may only be used to extend Premium access on the referring user's own account.

Any unused free Premium months are forfeited without compensation if the user's account is terminated or deleted, whether by the user or by ND-Link. Referral Premium does not survive the termination or deletion of the account and cannot be transferred to another account.

14. Account Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or remove accounts temporarily or permanently in case of violation of these terms, abuse, or behaviour that endangers the safety or wellbeing of other users. In serious cases this may be without prior warning. Users can delete their own account at any time via the account settings.

15. Privacy

Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Statement.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via the app or by email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes arising from the use of ND-Link are, to the extent permitted by mandatory law, subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Limburg (Belgium).
